I love a good contest! Although I probably should have entered this one, I was too lazy and missed the deadline. I have lots of beady friends who did and they need your votes!!

  2. Thanks Lorelei and yes, next year you should enter! But why wait, magazines would love to have your work. :)

I thought that was a Gaea heart, but I didn't know that was her necklace. It will so fun to see the winners!

  3. You're very welcome J.S.- and don't worry about it. I'm not in a huge rush.
H.P- thanks for the confidence boost! I can always count on you!
I assumed it's Gaea's but then saw on her blog that it really is her necklace! YAY for GAEA!

  4. Thanks Lorelei! It is a nice confidence boost! I had no idea that I was familiar with so many of the designers listed! I actually didn't know about the voting until a customer had sent me an email about her creation being listed! Congrats to all!

  5. Hey there! Thanks for posting about my necklace and for supporting your friends who were finalists! That really rocks of you! Oh my, there are so many talented artists and designers. I am sure that it would be hard to decide who will ultimately win the grand prize. I think we're all winners! We all get to share in this wonderful opportunity to share what we're working on and seeing new and different designs.

And yeah, I agree with Heather, don't be afraid to submit your work. Any magazine would be lucky to have your talents represented within its pages.

  6. It's been on my mind and on my blog lately about finding your own jewelry voice and having a recognizable style and it's TRUE - I went to vote and chose Heather's piece without knowing it was hers!

Thanks, Lorelei, for showcasing all these great entries.

I'm sorry to have to turn on the word verification here, but I got fed up with spammers comments!
