I hate Mondays....
...especially when I got zero sleep on the weekend.
I'm in a real funk. Franny arrived at college yesterday morning. It's a little sad for me. She's my one true ally, my best friend, my confidante, my sister, my baby sister. Just yesterday I was sixteen years old and she came into this world!
Time flies. I was looking forward to a trip to Oswego this weekend, but her agenda is full that day. So I'll have to wait a few weeks, til her weekends slow down, til my weekends slow down. I'm preparing a care package for her. Lots of goodies, things that remind her of home, tools to keep in touch, maybe an owl or two.
Good Luck Franny! Make good decisions at college. Stay focused. Be brave. Get prepared for life.

Sweet post.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing pictures of people when they were younger, it's so fun! Thanks for sharing those.
ReplyDeleteYour sister looks like she's as sweet as you are, Lorelei! My husband Josh as a younger brother, Adam. There's an 8 year age difference between the two. When Adam was younger we were more of parental figures to him. Now he's 21 and we hang-out with him and his friends like equals! We have a lot of fun with him and yet he still comes to us for advice on the serious stuff, so we have the best of both worlds now!
You just wait, the best is yet to come for you and Franny!
