Some inspiration- Pashupatina

Morning, Ya'll.

I was looking around online yesterday and found a jewelry designer that absolutely blew me away.
A brilliant designer who creates one-of-a-kind masterpieces, and the fact that they could hardly ever be replicated by another, is amazing. I want to come up with designs like this! Jewelry designs that would be difficult for someone to copy exactly. (Interesting post over at Round Rabbit's blog today, Read it here)
I first spotted this artist in my book, 1000 Jewelry Inspirations...and then somehow stumbled upon the website. Here are some amazing examples ( Just a few of my favorites!):
I hope you all are inspired by this like I am. The use of color in these necklaces is amazing, isn't it? And the fact that she has no available for sale at the moment tells me that she is quite successful! All pictures in this post provided by

P.S. Joe is home safe and I'm all like GIDDY. :)

  1. Those are so cool! They look like they grew that way! Awesome find!

  2. I have been drooling over her stuff for a year now ~ she is an inspiration for sure!
    Her colour sense is spot-on.
    Very eclectic :>]!

  3. Yes, pashupatina is amazing. I first discovered her a couple of years ago (surfing the net) and I check out her site regularly.

Glad to hear your Joe is back safe and sound :)

glad that the hubster is back.

  5. Oh yes, I love her work and have been stopping by her site for over a year now. It is so cool how she weaves everything together. Old and new.

LOVE the necklace you sent me! Thank you for trading. It was too fun. I also like the blue background on your blog :)

  6. They are super cool! I have no doubt that you can make jewelry just as inspiring. :)

  7. Thanks ladies! I love how organic this jewelry is. Like Gaea said, it's like they grew this way. How fun is that??! Thanks for your comments!

  8. I once was subletting a room in my apartment. This really great Russian Arts teacher was looking at the place and said she had something to show me. It seemed like we were going to be the best roommate friends ever! It ended up falling through, but she did send me a link to this amazing jewelry designer. I'm glad you spotlighted this very talented and deserving artist!
