Hi Blog Fans!
I apologize for not having much to show you the last few days. Due to the Fall TV schedule coming back this week, I've been relaxing in front of the tube the last few nights!
If you haven't watched any tv, here are some shows you HAVE to catch.
WORST WEEK
NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE
THE OFFICE
GREY'S ANATOMY
SURVIVOR
I'm really most ticked about the fact that they decided to finally bring back my most favorite show- FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS but only on DirectTV. What's up with that garbage!? I'm so MAD. If anyone knows any secret ways of downloading this show so that I can keep up on what's going on (I think it officially starts next week) let me know.
I have some plans tonight to get together with some old college friends that are coming into town! Haven't seen them since my wedding 6 years ago, so I'm excited to catch with the ladies. This get together may or may not stretch throughout the weekend, but I hope to get some sort of jewelry made this weekend. I also have to finish up some other "important" work stuff that I wish I could tell you about.
Bottom line is, I hope to have something new to share sometime this weekend. So, please don't give up on me now. :)
Have a good Friday!

  1. Lorelei, enjoy your time, your brain and creativity are working in the background anyway. At least that's what I tell myself when I take a night off - LOL - it's RESEARCH, yeah, that's it, you're checking trends.

  2. That's right. I'm checkin trends on all the latest tv shows...drawing inspiration from that. Takin' notes. Being OBSERVANT.

    haha!

  3. Two things:
    1. How much did you love The Office? Pam and Jim in the rain-just kill me.

    2. Do you watch House? Your TV dance card looks pretty full, but you might like eet. It's my three-way-tie co-fave with the Office and the Colbert Report.

  4. I love the Office but hadn't realized it has already started! agghh!!

I'm patiently waiting for Lost to eventually return. I hope it is worth the wait.

I haven't made anything new in the last 3 weeks so you shouldn't feel bad. I feel like such a slug!!!

  5. Oh my Gosh CS - Go watch the first episode on NBC.COM right now!! You've gotta see it!

Oh Joelle, it was so awesome. But I think it's better as a half hour show. An hour seems kinda long!

I don't watch House. It looks good but I feel like I shoulda jumped on that train a long time ago. now it's too late.

  6. I don't think it's ever too late to jump on the House train, Lorelei.

I saw a few episodes from the first season, and since I've missed so many, I miss a lot of the "big picture" nuances, but each episode within itself is still enjoyable to watch, even when you have no clue what's going on, in terms of the seasonal plot.

I'm a huge fan of Desperate Housewives, as well. And Jonah and I have begun watching all the reality shows on Bravo - Tabitha's Salon Takeover, Shear Genius, Project Runways... those are our favorites.

(And he's guilty of watching America's Top Model, as well. I went to bed and he stayed up to finish the cycle and even decided he needed to TELL ME ABOUT THE WINNER the next day. it was cute.)

Love 3 of those shows; The Adv. of New Old Christine, Greys A and The Office. Of course I don't have Tvo so I have to sacrifice The Office for Grey's. The rest of the family watches The Office.

Oh and I'm HUGE fan of Heroes.
Love it when the shows start up again. Isn't that officially why it gets dark????
