Momma got a new pair of shoes!

No jewelry to share today I'm afraid. I took the evening off last night and spent some of the evening chatting with my sister who is at college. She was trying to relax in her room, but in the background I could hear lots of "loudness". Unfortunately her roommate had invited a friend over and they were playing PS2, loudly. Poor Fran. I think the whole roommate thing has become quite old, quite fast. If she's anything like me, I did everything and anything I could to have my own room. Otherwise, she's having a good time at school, and really staying focused on getting good marks this semester. She's a very driven, motivated girl and I admire that about her. Go Franny!

In other news, My new J-41 shoes came yesterday! Wooohooo! These babies are da BOMB! Run a little small, shoulda went up a half a size. But with thin socks they'll be ah-ight.
My shoes are brown and the straps (shown here look red) are more burgundy in color. The stitching on my shoes is red also.
I hadn't really even heard of this J-41 company until I was looking at some of the paypal shops and Sierra Trading post was listed (you can use Paypal there!? - How awesome is that?!?) So I find these really cute shoes and they are totally on sale $35 (they are regularly $89!) and My size! I'm a big girl size 10. I then did a little research and found out that J-41 shoes are completely Vegan-

No leather and no animal products used in their shoes
Quick-drying and odor free sock linings. Removable contoured footbed.
Eco-friendly, partially recycled rubber outsole for traction and durability.
Toe and heel bumpers for protection against the elements.
Jeep® engineered and trail rated.

I want this pair next!

You can purchase J-41 shoes :
The Tannery
Pegasus Shoes
Online Shoes
Sierra Trading Post
Planet Shoes
Zappos
and probably ebay!

  3. Aw, they're so cute!
And eco-friendly to boot. (: No shoe-puns intended.

I like that pair with the woven-look and the green straps the best, I think. Cserdan is right - they'll probably match your new bag!

I'm sorry to have to turn on the word verification here, but I got fed up with spammers comments!
