Random Stuff

Some random thoughts for today...

1. When Heather Wynn posted on her blog, sweet little necklaces that she made using Beth's HINT charms (here), I knew I had to have one of my own! So I sent my HINT charm, Saskia the owl, to Heather and she made me this! Using a sweet little 1800s button, and one of her signature Love Bravely stampings. It's nice because it flips, it's on the owl side, or on the Love Bravely side. Always something pretty showing! Now matter how you wear it!

Randomness No. 2:
I desperately need a haircut. Or maybe I should just grow my hair long again. ? This is a never-ending battle.

Randomness no. 3:

I created this funky modern charm necklace last night using a triangle charm that I had gotten from Nancy of Round Rabbit. It's kind of fun, and challenging due to the location of the holes in the charm, but this is what I came up with. Not sure how I really feel about it. So if you have any thoughts, leave a comment. This is THIS MONTH'S JEWELRY GIVEAWAY! HA! Didn't see that comin' did ya!!! Leave a comment on this post and I'll pick a random winner on Sunday evening (11/30)
And the final Random thing for this day, go read Andrew Thornton's blog. He's doing a fun trade and you don't want to miss out - He's trading his handmade trading cards, for whatever you feel is a fair trade. I already have mine picked out- BUT, there are lots more to pick from! I can't wait to see the kinds of things he ends up getting.

have a good tuesday!

  10. That necklace is wonderful - does it make a slight jingle as you walk? I too never want to take the time to go get my hair cut. I'm now on an adventure to see just how much it will grow in one year. I'll cut it next August.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us.

    Hair..., it's the universal dilemma.
I heard Tracy Ullman say that years and years ago, I'll never forget it...so true! :) Yours looks nice tho. Thinking of growing mine out some too, maybe it's the change of seasons.
