My wishlist for Santa

Hello!
Greetings from upstate Connecticut. I am at my mother-in-laws, curled up on the couch with my coffee, in my jammies.... surfing the net on my laptop- I figured, might as well blog!!
We came into town last night. When we arrived, we had to babysit my sister-in-law's kids Max and Alexandra for a few hours. We had a fun time with the kids (who were surprisingly very well-behaved) We colored, Alex combed and put pretties in my hair, we played some video games on the computer. There was only one major accident when Alex fell on the stairs when she missed one step and went flat down on her face. There was crying. I panicked. But we worked through it and the crying didn't last as long as I thought it might, and there was a small moment when I thought to myself- "hey, I might be able to do this someday". no, not babysit...but have kids.

Tonight we having the family over. Joe will dress up as Santa for the kids. It's very exciting and a bit nerve-wracking. Max is 5-1/2 years old and we are waiting for the day when he realizes Santa is really uncle Joe. ;)
Midnight Mass is on the schedule for tonight but I'm not sure it'll happen. Tomorrow we'll do Christmas morning at my sister-in-law's. Then we (me, Joe, my mother in law, and a friend of hers) will head to our annual Matinee... I think we'll see Marley & Me, or Benjamin Buttons, or 7 lbs. (anyone who has reviews of any of these, leave a comment!)

Thought I would share some of the things I'm asking Santa for this year. There is a never-ending list of things on Etsy. I can surf for a matter of minutes and always find something that I want. It's a wonder that I make any money on Etsy selling jewelry. Most of my cash goes back to other Etsy sellers!

A matineee on Christmas day sounds like an amazing idea. I'm going to have to talk my Mom and sister into this!

  3. Hi Sue!
Yes I really hope she likes this necklace. I love how it turned out. The beads I found work perfectly with the pendant from Virginia Miska.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday!

  4. Hi Charlene!
It's really turned into a fun family tradition that we all really look forward to. I wouldn't recommend Marley & Me though. OMG It was so sad. Like brutal!! I hate movies that cause me to sob. It's no fun!
