I've Been Tagged!

Cindy, this is for you babe!
SweetBeadStudio tagged me, and I had tons of fun putting together my answers, complete with pics!

THE RULES:

Rules of the game: Respond and rework. Answer the questions on your own blog; replace one question that you dislike with a question of your own invention; add one more question of your own. Tag some friends to keep the flow going, let them know they've been tagged.

THE QUESTIONS:

What is your current obsession? I am absolutely in love with wood. The mixture of wood with any other medium, makes my heart go pitter patter these days. I feel like it can be mixed with anything, and make whatever is created, feel a little bit more organic and natural. I just ordered from Beads and Pieces and I think 95% of what I ordered was wood.

What is your biggest pet peeve? I absolutely HATE doing things twice. This mostly affects me at work. I can see it from a mile away, whether or not I will have to do something more than once. I try everything I can, so that isn't the case. I'm not sure where this stemmed from. I guess I just hate wasting time.

What was the last thing you bought?

New Pillows for our bed, last night. Slept like a baby! Joe said he's still trying to get used to them. The firmer the pillow, the better. Must be the opposite for him. Go figure!

What are you listening to right now?

The Talking Heads is a station on Pandora that I can't get enough of! I have also enjoyed Tracy Chapman radio.

Favorite vacation spots?

The Outer Banks of North Carolina, hands down. I've gone here a few times with family for big vacations, growing up. I love it and want to retire there. Although the outer banks may be gone by that point, the ocean is washing away the dunes each year. It's very sad.

What are you reading right now?

The last book I started was Wesley the Owl, but it didn't grab me within the first chapter so I stopped reading it. Lately, I've just been reading beading magazines. Check out my most recent project in Step By Step Wire Jewelry!

What four words would you use to describe yourself? motivated, particular, thoughtful, maternal

What is your current guilty pleasure?

PURSES! From 2 of my favorites: DrikaB and MadeByHank.

What would you do if the internet was irreparably damaged and you had to find another way to connect? I would probably drive to the closest home of one of my beady friends, and it would probably be Kerry in Rochester. Kerry, PULL OUT THE MUGS! I'm COMING over!

Where are you planning to travel next?

Joe and I are going on a little weekend getaway to Stowe Vermont i n a week. I am really looking forward to this trip, so that we can re-connect a bit. Too much beading, can cause us to separate a bit. We have a time share condo in Stowe, the first week of May. We took a few years off, and have decided to start going back again. I'm looking forward to GR EEN MOUNTAIN COFFEE, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, Cinco de Mayo parties, Mexican deliciousness, and a ride through the mountains!

What was the best thing y ou ate or drank recently?

Byrne Dairy Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich. OH.YUM.

What flower are you most anxious to see bloom this spring?

The lilacs! I am sad that we don't have any lilac bushes at our new house yet, the ones we planted at our previous house will be nice and big this year with lots of blooms.

Where do you get the most inspiration for your work? Hands down, Etsy and Blogs.

Care to share some wisdom? The best advice: You've gotta give a little, to get a little.

  4. Have a wonderful time on your trip! I think it's SO important to a relationship to be together alone, to be able to reconnect as a couple, especially if you have kids! Sounds like a great place, too! Jealous!
