Headed back to Philly
Hey Ya'All! I hope everyone had as nice a day as we did today. The weather was absolutely perfect! I got a little sun on my face, and did some jewelry. Looking forward to listing my new pieces today. They turned out sweet. Here are the bracelets that were created in today's bead session.
I am headed back to Philadelphia on Monday for work. I am flying down and then riding back on a truck with our painting. Oh the life of a courier, so glamorous! But I am looking forward to visiting this great city again, and to get together with my friend Beth for some lunch on tuesday. Also looking forward to the little coffee shop up the street from my hotel, cupcakes from the Flying Monkey, a visit to the Anthropolgie store. Wishing I was brave enough to venture to the Eastern State Penitentiary for a bit of a tour, but I think I'm too chicken to go alone. Although, man, what a cool thing that would be.
I won't be able to ship any jewelry out til Thursday. Keep this in mind if you are shopping in my Etsy shop. I'm going to keep it open but will have my laptop with me in Philly to correspond with people. You know me, I always like to be in touch.
Now, back to my weekend....
Love the new bracelets :)

ReplyDeleteHi Lorelei
ReplyDeleteI hope you're enjoying yourself in Philly. I just met someone today from Philly and he told me all about the local restaurants, "water ice", and the good pretzels there!
I love your designs. I must say you always have the best assortment of beads. I hope to build up my bead collections so I can create some jewelry with some unique beads.
ReplyDeleteYou're coming to my neck of the woods! If you have pockets of cash, don't miss the tapas at Amada. And if you're short on funds, definitely make a stop at Mr. Joe's Cafe on 8th St. The best italian lunch you can possibly imagine - and they'll pour a glass of wine for you on the house!
ReplyDeleteHI AMY!

Whoops, I've been working the night shift for several days and not keeping up with my blogs! Darn! Oh well, another time :)
