I've got a follow up appointment today with the Cardiologist...and then an appointment with my family physician. I hope it goes well.
Last night I went to dinner with a friend and we finally got to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It was really intense. I love how those movies are filmed. It was over before I knew it and couldn't believe it was 2.5 hours long. WOAH! Buuuut.
I felt like I did when I read that book. Really really pissed off with the ending. In fact, so pissed off, that I bought Book 7 and refused to read it. But now I suppose I should probably just get it over with now that I'm intriqued by the movie.

Tonight I have plans to bead with my friend Tara. I've gotta pull together some projects to work on. She just revamped her studio, and it is totally FABULOUS. I'll take some pictures to share with you. She has instituted a great plan for storing beads to get them up off her table tops.

Ok, see you tomorrow!!

  2. Have a great Dr. appointment! I went to the movies with the thought that "They can't possibly make it all fit. They will change things. It's ok." I guess I mentally prepared myself for that and loved the movie warts and all. I like to think that they are two different beasts and how great it is to have the extra bits in the books. I told myself I wasn't going to read any of the books before the movies so I wouldn't be disappointed. I read them anyway! The Deathly Hallows is sooooo good!

  6. Good luck at your Dr. appts... Sending positive thoughts your way today!

I loved HP and the Deathly Hallows so much, we have the book and also on audio so I can listen to it in the studio while working... Jim Dale is such a wonderful narrator (he also narrated the short lived TV show Pushing Daisies).

Treat yourself to a good read and go for it! It's a super fast read too (like them all).

  7. Good luck with the doctors and glad you got to see the movie. I agree with you about the ending in the book, though. Made me mad, too.
