February blues
Got the blues?
These might cheer you up.
Check out these delicious red nuggets I got from Kelleys Beads. Aren't they
wonderful? I paired them one of my Jade Scott pendants.
She made these specially for me. But then she made more and so
This bracelet is a bit more rustic, or organic, or earthy.
I love this silk ribbon from Ornamentea. I have to get
some more, first chance I get. I wire wrapped it to
wired section of art beads. Ceramic rounds from Elaine Ray,
Lampwork glass from The Orange Bell and a Ceramic
square focal from Summers Studios Etc.
A few things to look forward to here at the blog:
Tomorrow is the big Bead Soup Party REVEAL!
Thursday I'll talk about a special Keepsake necklace that I made for a special customer.
Friday at the ABS I'll be showing some Valentine's favorites from Ornamentea.
i don't normally go for blue and red together (too patriotic), but the bracelet is yummy! sort of asian, really.
ReplyDeleteI love red, and anything I make in red sells immediately, so I must not be alone!
ReplyDeleteI told Kelley that those beads looked juicy, like pomegranit seeds. Such a great design, and love the Jade Scott. And that cord from Ornamentea is so great. I just got some ribbon from there, working on something special. Looking forward to your Bead Soup! (I need to get my pot off simmer and into a full boil!). Enjoy the day! Erin
ReplyDeleteGreat bracelets! Kelley's beads and the Jade Scott pendant look wonderful together!
ReplyDeleteI'm not normally a red person. But I love those reds. Funny, I just opened a package of the chirimen cord that came in the mail. It is soooo soft. Love the pairing of ceramic and glass in the second piece.
ReplyDeleteI really love the new pieces!! So bright and cheery! TFS
