Rings N Things Goodie Bag
A Rings N Things goodie bag arrived a few weeks ago. It was a hefty little bubble mailer, and I couldn't wait to rip it open to find out what was sent this time around. Out poured lovely shell pearls in 3 sizes and faceted glass blingy beads- in two color palettes. Purples, and Champagne/Pink.
This past weekend I sat down with the champagne and pink pearls and put them into a necklace design that screams SUMMER WEDDING! I can see a bridesmaid wearing this stunner, with a nice little strapless peach or champagne pink dress. I attached the pearls and faceted glass rondelles to a brass double link chain. Up one side, I included a sweet brass shell chain and a large brass toggle clasp that could essentially be worn either in the front or the back.
I had fun with this project. This type of style is new for me and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. Now I just need to figure out how to wear to work without the bridesmaid dress. I'm even thinking of ordering a strand of pearls in this brown mix, and just doing a simple beaded with ribbon necklace... a more simple look for work.
Hoping to get into the second package of goodies soon: hint: MEMORY jewelry!!
