Back to the Grind

Hello!!
I am back from my weekend getaway... I hope everyone had a great Easter holiday! I had a nice time with my in-laws in Connecticut. We enjoyed some quality time with my niece and nephew. We enjoyed going to one of Max's indoor soccer games on Saturday. I really got into it much more than I thought and when he scored a goal I was screaming my head off. It was fun because Uncle Joe promised him $10 for any goal Max scored and of course Max approached Uncle Joe immediately after the game was over, arm outstretched, demanding his money!!
I had a nice time bonding with Alexandra who enjoyed being pushed for at least 30 min. at a time on the swingset in the back yard.  During that time was a long run on sentence about anything and everything. Man, that girl can CHAT!
We had a nice Easter dinner on Sunday, and then made the trek home on Monday. Once home, I couldn't unpack and get into the studio fast enough. I can't tell you how sane beading keeps me and after 3 days away from it, it's all I wanted to do! The bracelet above was one of the things I created in last nights session. I have it listed in the shop now in case anyone is interested.

Also just wanted to mention that the collaboration necklace that Andrew and I created, was won by a lucky Rosemary Cheslock, for $180. Thank you everyone for bidding and giving your support for a wonderful cause.
New pieces will trickle into the shop at lunch time and later tonight. Stay tuned.

It's so good to be back!

  8. Lovely bracelet -- I really like how you've used the pink "daisy spacers". Feel like sheer spring flowers.
