  3. My beading technique that I do is just stringing our flamework beads and enameled pendants into necklaces or bracelets. I did learn a simple stitch in my Constructed Textiles class, a few years ago, and wanted to learn more, I just have not had time to learn. Maybe now that I am out of school I can take up beading!
    Happy Early Birthday to you!

  13. Hi, I am currently working on a colourful looooong herringbone tubular necklace with "bulges". I did blog about my first attempt which went kind of wrong, but then again right anyway depending on how you look at it. Now I am on my second attempt and it is working well, or at least the way it is supposed to. I find it very relaxing to do beadstitching work.

And also today I have been sanding down a shiny gold-plated watch face that I shall try to paint and use in a piece for the ABS may challenge ... I didn't like that shiny surface so ... wish me luck on the painting ...

It is wonderful to be inspired, and I don't think I could create anything without the inputs of other peoples work. Great books are always welcome!
