Sunday Links

Joe and I decided to hang the little bird house that Maggie got me for my birthday, on one of the large oaks in front of our house, facing our front porch. I am hoping we get some permanent residents moving in soon! It's hung nice and high so none of the hoodlum kids can steal it and low enough so we can see it clearly while hanging out on the porch.

I am headed to Florida this afternoon. For some reason I am dreading it. I don't like to leave the confines of my house, that's the bottom line. I wish Joe was coming with me. I'll get through it... just have to get there, do my work, and hopefully have a little fun too. I am hoping to meet up with not just one online friend, but 2!! Hopefully it works out.  I'll keep in touch, bringing my trusty laptop with me.  No new jewelry for a while. When I get back, we are taking off to CT to my in-laws for Memorial Day weekend! But I just added a ton of new stuff to the shop so if you have to shop, you know where to find it.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend- make it count! I'll see you in a bit!

  1. Pack your Daisy Dukes - its hot down here. We've had mid-90's all last week (I'm actually 10 miles from FLA in GA, but its only warmer farther south). And bring a sweater. I will be grateful for the ultralow setting on the AC when I start having hot flashes, but right now I need a sweater to be inside in most public places.

If you are going back to Orlando for work just think of all the Florida color you can bring back to your beading. Find a few hours to go over to the beach. Enjoy your trip!
