Mailing List

P1014058I have been fussing with this long enough.  I have created a mailing list, and a newsletter. I figure I'll send newsletters to people on the mailing list, for the Seasons- This first one will be Fall, then I'll do one around Christmas, another in the dead of winter probably February, one in Spring, one is Summer. And etc etc etc.

It was fun to set up but a bit tricky to get everything straight. I never read instructions, and wasn't able to watch the how-to videos because I was at work when I decided to create the newsletter. So this is just me, fiddling around, and it kind of resembles a newsletter, how bout that!?

I used Mailchimp.com - Found out about it from JudithB Designs, who just started her mailing list and newsletter. So, a great big THANKS to JUDY!

This graphic will be added to the side bar of my blog.  But click HERE to see the pretty form I created for sign ups.

So your most important question is probably:

What can I get from the newsletter that I don't already get from the blog?

GREAT QUESTION!!
You can get coupon codes, specific to holidays or special occasions... find out about what current and upcoming publications I'll be in... Get sneak peeks of new jewelry designs... find out about upcoming Craft shows I am participating in... plus you'll find all the links of where to find me. I'll probably also announce contests, or other big news concerning jewelry there too. We'll just have to see what comes up.

So if you feel so inclined, just sign up with your email and first name, you'll get a confirmation email letting you know you're on the right track,  you'll have to click the link in the email to get everything going.

  1. I've been playing around with a newsletter for a while, and you're right, it's just a lot of trial and error to set up. I also saw mailchimp on Judith's blog and have been looking into it. Thanks for the extra push and good luck!

I've heard good things about mailchimp, too.

I'm sorry to have to turn on the word verification here, but I got fed up with spammers comments!
