A Special Sneak Peek!
I had a crazy busy weekend and didn't get into the studio until late last night. By the time I got in there, my Muse was banging her head against the wall trying to get the heck out. It took some time, but happened eventually. I had a bit of an agenda- Yesterday morning I hopped in the car and headed to Syracuse to have breakfast with the lovely Nancy Schindler, and her partner in crime from their pottery studio, Maryanne White. We enjoyed a typical Diner breakfast, and enjoyed some chitchatting about the holiday show they were in the midst of doing at the Fairgrounds. Although a rather dismal turnout, they were still happy and upbeat, and I enjoyed myself as usual!
While there, Nancy handed over to me a few of her new components that she is updating her Extra shop with today! I get asked to give YOU a bit of a sneak peek, and here you go!! I am tickled with these new components- they are funky and stretch my imagination like nothing else. Multi-holed connectors, discs, shards with flowers, shards with BIRDS!, large pendants with lots of holes.....amazing stuff! I created the following pieces and will show some of the other things I got from her too, to give you an idea of what to expect in the shop today....
The components look like fun to work with. All the jewelry is fantastic! I especially love the pink bird and the leather bracelet. Wonderful!ReplyDelete
