Rainy Day Randoms
Harold Cooney is moving to Oregon and needs to move with a few less beads. A 30% off coupon is available (OREGON) to help him out. I bought these. I love the stripey-ness of them. I have some big ideas for them.
I had a good conference call today with Erin and our editor Michelle. The book is coming right along! We are giddy with excitement and it's a whole year away yet. I wish I could say more about it!! Not yet rabbits. Not just yet.
I got a great package in the mail today from Kylie Parry. She made me a necklace and I made her some earrings.

I am still making jewelry for next weekend. My Gawd. I think I have enough. and I didn't even get into the tin yet this weekend. I must do that though. Here are just a few of the pieces I crafted up today. Some repeats and some new.
We watched Giada today and learned a new recipe for spicy Gazpacho. I tried it. It's REALLY hot. I'm not sure I can eat it but we'll see. This is our first time making Gazpacho. Seems like a nice and summery dish. We are making her Ravioli with spicy sage butter recipe too. If it's good I'll let ya know.
I have a few new favorite blogs I want to recommend! I found a few new jewelry designers that are DA BOMB!! Loleys&Co. - Fun, colorful vintage-inspired beaded jewelry designs with an art bead thrown in now and then. Her blog is just as great. Today she talks about a recent studio move.
and Moonfly Silver! Her blog is MoonflyGirl.
A silversmith from London who utilizes the prettiest pottery shards in her whimsical designs. Her shop is so inspiring and her blog is awesome. The other day she blogged at least 3 times in one day. My Kind of Blogger!!Enjoy!
Lovely everything! Those are great shards! A wonderful idea that has been done with Lampwork.
ReplyDeleteHarold Cooney makes the most fantastic creations I think. And your new designs are as pretty as always. Thanks for directing me to those two blogs.
