Thursday Ramblings

Good Morning!

I had a great night last done, it was productive. I had to run to Michaels and get some frames for some artwork that I bought as Christmas gifts. Got home, framed them up, ordered a pizza, wrapped the rest of the presents and sat down uninterrupted and created some pretties for the shop.  This earthly delights bracelet was fun to put together. Just brass wire, and simple loops and a few Brass rings from Vintaj Brass Co. I added a few dangles using some lampwork headpins from Gardanne Beads to embellish it. The smaller ceramic beads are some that I got from Elaine Ray at Bead Fest in August.

The large blue focal ceramic round is from Gaea and goes perfectly with the other beads I chose.

Then I put together some matching earrings with some Elaine Ray cube beads. Simply stacked with some brass rounds, clay heishi, and quartz rondelles, on brass headpins. Nothing crazy.

The glaze on these beads is so cool. I can't take it!

  1. Just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas. I've enjoyed all your creations that I have purchased from you this year and look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

I LOVE this set in today's blog! They go so well together - the earrings & bracelet.

I also want to let you know my mom purchased for me "Spotted" earrings with the Mexican Obicular Jasper teardrop shaped beads. We had our family Christmas last weekend, and she gave them to me. She pays attention to my Facebook posts when I comment on certain pieces you put on there. :)

Again, enjoy the Season and I hope you get some relaxing in.

    Merry Christmas!

  3. If I don't get a chance before Sunday, Merry Christmas Lorelei!

Those new pieces are great! Sometimes the "simplest" ideas come out the best...Especially when you're starting with a great bead that doesn't need anything competing with it...

  6. I love that bracelet--the tealy blues with the dark brass is awesome, esp. love the clear beads with it. I really need to gather up my courage and mix some circles and squares together, this looks great. (I seem to be phobic about that).
