Trinkets
Today Joe and I drove out to Little Falls to check out a bead shop. It was closed unfortunately when we got there but luckily there is a great antique mall in town that we always like to check out so we stopped in for a while. I found some little tiny collectibles, a Singer sewing machine and a small red metal car. I snatched them up! As soon as I got home, I was up in the studio playing around. Came up with 2 designs for both. These will be in my etsy shop momentarily.
Oh, those are so cute! I love the little car bracelet, but you might want to check into the age of the car and make sure it doesn't contain lead.
ReplyDeleteOh these are both great! What luck you had to spot these great little guys. I hardly ever find such great trinkets.
ReplyDeletehee hee, that little car is so darn cute! Very clever of you Miss L :)
ReplyDeleteI love the car bracelet and I think I have that Singer machine in my front room. It was my grandmothers - - - really!
ReplyDeleteThese are cute! The Singer is quite detailed.
ReplyDeleteWe were antiquing today too! What great pieces you found, and totally cute jewelry you made with them. I especially like the car one, and I have to push myself to make some more auto inspired pieces to sell at our local car museum. Hopefully I can blog about it soon!
ReplyDeleteLove love love! Especially the little car
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry I missed you today! I love that antique mill--I always find really unexpected jewelry finds there. At least the trip was not a total bust! Perhaps next weekend!
ReplyDeletesuper cute! and so clever!
ReplyDeleteThey are both so awesome, now only if the singer would have been a pfaff, you would have me absolutely sold. Since I work with a Pfaff of similar age as your little singer collectable.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, amazing pieces.
Absolutely love both of these, the sewing machine is ridiculously cute, but the car bracelet as a whole design - stunning! Such gorgeous colours.
ReplyDeleteThose are so stinkin' cute!! LOVE the sewing machine :) You did a great job with both trinkets :)
ReplyDeleteWell that is what I get for working yesterday and missing this post, and missing that bracelet with the red car which was totally awesome...darn. I'm sure someone is enjoying it immensely!
ReplyDeleteLove the trinkets... aren't you afraid the paint saying "Singer" will rub off as the "jump ring" moves over it?
ReplyDeleteHugs!
