Another Photo Editing Option
I found out about Pixlr-o-Matic from Heather Powers the other day on Facebook. But this morning I did a search and found that the Pixlr website has lots of other options too for photo fun. This picture above, I altered in the Pixlr Express module. Totally free, no download.
They have MANY options for frames, lots of cool fonts, layers... you name it. The only thing that I saw it couldn't do was collages but I can still do them in Picasa so I'm not worried. I know many of you were wondering what we're all going to do once Picnik closes in April and I just wanted to share this alternative option! I hope you give it a try!
Thanks for that..will definately have an explore.

Thanks for the heads up Lorelei, PE software was on my to do list and this looks very interesting...I like Picasa collages because they're so quick & easy so the 2 could be a great solution. :0)
ReplyDeleteOoh, perfect timing!! Thank you as I was, in fact, wondering that very thing yesterday. Of course theres always Photoshop and Picasa, but a quick online editor is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI've never used Picnik, but I was ready to start when the bad news came out. Thanks for sharing another option!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Thank you! I was thinking I might actually have to purchase software:)

apparently some (or all?) of the picnik capabilities are going to be migrated to the Google+ platform, so that might be an eventual free option too.
ReplyDeleteLooks great L. I just heard about it and your photo and font looks great!
