weekend flew by

I dug into my Round Rabbit stash today.  There always comes a time when the hoarding must stop and the pendants have to be used.  I love all three of these pieces so much, it will be hard to part with them.  Nancy is updating her shop with some new pendants and components tomorrow 3/12 at 12:00 Noon est. Check out her shop at Big Cartel and see what all the fuss is about.

I also made myself a necklace today. I have been thinking about doing a simple turquoise necklace for some time now, and just never took the time to make it happen. I love the idea of it being a small single strand of turquoise with a simple Owl coin pendant (Nina Designs) on it, which celebrates my Greek heritage.  I have a feeling I won't be taking this one off for a while.

Love the owl pendant. Neat turquoise necklace. It seems we never have time to make something for ourselves. Think I might have to do that too.

  2. *love* - you have such an elegant neck for modelling! a very pretty necklace. the perfect shade for pairing with the lovely owl pendant.

  3. The combination of the owl pendant and turquoise is lovely.

    Thanks for sharing.

  4. Lorelei,
The first three necklaces are beautiful. I have somethings I have been hoarding that need to be made into something also, so I can buy more items to hoard for a while LOL. I love your turquoise and owl necklace it is sweet and simple just perfect.

  5. All lovely but completely in love with the butterfly necklace, such beautiful colors!

  6. Your posts are always very interesting

  7. Oooh pretty, pretty, Pretty. I know where did the weekend go. I barely got any beading done, mores the pity

  8. Love the Round Rabbit necklaces -- all with stuff I wanted but missed out on. But I scored some great stuff from her listings today :) I always wonder if you agonize about all the details in all your necklaces or if you just put them together right away.

  9. I really love the reindeer necklace! The colors look so wonderful together!
