Milestone Anniversary

10 years ago today, I married my very best friend. I couldn't ask for a nicer, more perfect man. We endulged that day, I do remember that. One of us a bit more than the other. ;) But I still couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The weather shifted from being in the high 90s, down to about 80 degrees the day we got married. All of my favorite people were in the town where we lived.  I gave tours of our cute little cape. We were so proud of our house. A bridesmaid clogged the toilet right before we left for the salon. There was a moment of nervousness that quickly subsided once the hair was done and we were back at the house to get dressed. After this, it was a whirlwind. Pictures. Church. Pictures. Reception. All over in a flash.  But spending the rest of my life with this one man, my friend, lover, honey, is the best thing ever.

  15. Congratulations! A milestone anniversary, and you both look so happy. Coincidentially - July 5 is my anniversary, also - but only 8 years. We married at sea on a cruise very simply - and we just keep going. I'm sure it's ups and downs for everyone, but hanging tough and hanging together is what counts in the long run. Happy Anniversary - to both of us :D
