Harvest Fest Prep

Getting down to business now. We are about 5 days away from the annual Harvest Festival in Sharon Springs NY. This will be my 2nd year exhibiting there. Last year was a blast, the weather was great, the vendors were amazing, and I had such a great time just being there for the weekend. Had to do it again so when the opportunity came up, I sent in my cash to reserve my space!
I am hoping for a bit better location this year. Last year I was kind of on the end of the fairway, so either people stopped by in the very beginning of their journey or at the end after all their cash was spent.

My display with most likely look very much like it did last year, with maybe just a few minor changes. My sister is coming up to help me with the show, so it will be fun to set up the tent and have a different take on how she might rearrange the jewelry. Throughout the week, I'll be putting aside all of my necessities- wood crates, table cloths, owls and other props. Still have to price everything.

Today I made a bunch of stuff to fill in the spots where I was needing some extras....
Of course when I do this, I always feel a little guilty making stuff that my online fans don't have a shot at. So of course, as always, if you see something in this pile that you MUST HAVE, just ask me! You may be able to twist my arm!

  1. Oh My! Beautiful work! I love the first bracelet that you photographed alone, and the Owl earrings. I love your set up. I have learned a lot about displays and such from you and other beady people. :) Hope to see lots of photos. To bad you could not come down to Florida for the Olustee Festival. :)

  2. Lorelei, I'm wondering if you can tell me what the flat square tile like displays are in the first 2 pics. (Are they actually ceramic tiles?) They are laying on the table, each with several necklaces on them. That is a nice and simple way to make pieces stand out. Thanks!

  6. I just love your display set up, great use of vertical space :) I'm already getting a little nervous about how I'll set up my table for Tucson! Gorgeous new pieces as always!

  7. Your display from the last show looks great! I've been picking up a wood box here and there but wondering how I can keep the pieces in the light. I'm so jealous over that dress form. Hubby rolls his eyes when I remind him I want--no, I Need one. Your jewelry is fabulous and I have not doubt your show will be successful!

And by the way, I love your new header. I know it's been up there a while but I keep forgetting to tell you.

  10. Lorelei, your jewelry looks wonderful and I am sure your display looked as good as the one from last year. I hope the show was a success. Who made the ceramic house pendant with with the key? I have never seen that before. My daughter just had her second baby and I would like tp make something for her using that house.
