Finally Did it
I did it. from Lori Eurto on Vimeo.
Just wanted to add a few things....
Not only do I want to change my daily focus in my business but my other goal is to start taking better care of myself. Head back to the gym. Lose some un-wanted extra weight. And refocus my attention on getting pregnant. I know it seems like a lot and I know I have to take it all one day at a time.
I appreciate all of your support so much. Last night on Facebook, I got so much love and I really appreciate all the encouragement. It's helping me feel good about my decision!!
Yay! Awesome :-)ReplyDelete
Good for you!!! Congrats!ReplyDelete
I think it's awesome and I remember our convo at Ornamentea in August about book proposals and when you were talking about it in the video, I remember how your face looked when I was asking you about it in the store and it was the same face, half excited, half completely overwhelmed! You'll be successful at whatever you try and the best part about the freedom is you'll get to explore and step outside of your comfort zone with new techniques and materials and you'll even get to take days completely to yourself when you don't even look at beads or art!! A definite new chapter for you and I know you'll be able to accomplish all of your goals.
Congratulations, Lorelei! You are such a beautiful, sensitive, talented unique individual! I have to say, your book really helped me in my approach to my work, and I love it when someone is able to find a new niche, define it, and share it. You have many more discoveries and wonderful things in your future. I applaud your bravery and your determination. Best of luck on your new life as an artist full time!ReplyDelete
Congratulations Lorelei!! Focus on you and everything will fall in place. You are talented and just look at all you did while working, you will do great. I will keep you in my prayers that you get pregnant and the baby will be healthy!! Thank you for all your inspiration and I hope that I can continue to focus on my business also!! This is a wonderful group of very talented artists and designers that are here to support each other with encouragement.ReplyDelete
Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing how this all unfolds for you!ReplyDelete
You go girl! Can't wait to see what transpires!ReplyDelete
I am so, so, SO PROUD OF YOU for taking this leap of faith and believing in yourself! That is the hardest part. Believe in yourself and you can make this happen. I promise. You've got what it takes. You will be so much happier in your life. I know it's scary when it comes to bringing in the money, but you've always done well. You just have to trust that. When you let something go, like the full-time job, all it will do is open up the door for bigger and better opportunities for you.ReplyDelete
Congrats! Yay you. I am so jealous as I would love to close my salon and stop doing nails but with hubby being out of work now for over a year with no unemployment I need to still work at the salon. My 5 year plan is to quit though so I am so excited for you and what is to come for you. ((hugs))ReplyDelete
Good luck in all of your endeavors!ReplyDelete
I'm so excited for you and look forward to following all your new adventures!ReplyDelete
Congratulations on taking such a giant leap of faith! I'm sure that it will be an exciting journey and you'll be successful on this new path :)ReplyDelete
Congratulations Lorelei! You will do fine ~ you are focused, determined and have a plan. Now the fun begins to watch it unfold. We'll all be watching and rooting for you!ReplyDelete
This is exciting news Lorelei! I completely understand being scared. I left a full time newspaper position (staff photographer) to freelance instead so that I could have more time to immerse myself in other creative endeavors (aka jewelry design). Some days, I feel like it is the best decision I ever made. Other days, I feel like it was the worst. I am sure you will have similar days but know that as long as you follow your dream and your heart, the end results will be fantastic. Plus you're ultra talented and motivated, so you'll do great. Looking forward to following your journey!ReplyDelete
SO excited for you! You did it! I know, without a doubt in my mind, that you will succeed. Congrats and hugs. Enjoy. Enjoy. Enjoy.ReplyDelete
honey, you've got what it takes and best of all, i think it shows that you love and are loved and.......all you need is love!! best, best wishes...all eyes on you, brave girl! luciaReplyDelete
Congratulations about taking this step you have wanted for so long. I know you will do well. You are already well known and successful and this will only improve over time. So exciting to be be following your dream... I wish you well on this wonderful journey ahead. Enjoy! JenniReplyDelete
Awesome, Lorelei, you can so make this work, your energy and drive, and of course your wonderful talent will open up so many avenues. Well done and a big woohoo to you! Vicki :)ReplyDelete
I've always wondered how you have been able to keep up doing what you do. You must have been so stressed and have been pushing yourself so-o-o-o hard. It's good you are able to take this step.ReplyDelete
I hope all your dreams come true.
Congrats on the big leap! Wishing you all the best, and heading back to the gym myself on Monday.ReplyDelete
Fantastic! ; )ReplyDelete
That is so awesome and I wish you HUGE success.ReplyDelete
So proud of you and super excited to see what you do next! You are gonna rock it, lady!ReplyDelete
I am so happy for you and am truly excited to see the awesome things to come now that you have time to really focus on your creativity.ReplyDelete
We all believe in you and are sharing in your celebration of freeing your creative "rrroarrr!" You go, sister! By the way, I would love to someday take a class with you... You've always been so generous with your knowledge. It means a lot to us :)
Wishing you many, many blessings,
Wow! This was HUGE news! I wish you the best in your new direction and focus. I'm sure that lots of wonderful things will be coming your way.ReplyDelete
Congratulation Lorelei, happy for you and sure you will succeed in all that. Hope everything will go in the way you want. All that was surely difficult chooses so congratulation! Love. Maryjoe French fan for ever!ReplyDelete
It will be a change but I am certain that you will do great. You are connected to many great jewelry people. With more time to devote to your business opportunities will abound!!!ReplyDelete
Good for you girl! I gave up my long term career a couple of years ago, all-be-it at a much later age than you. I remember the alternating waves of excitement and terror (and still get them) but I feel so much richer spiritually even though I'm financially poorer and am so glad I made the choice I did. I have no doubt you will be hugely successful and hope this will be the start of a really exciting time which sees all your wishes fulfilled.ReplyDelete
I can see you being an in-demand teacher traveling around the country and being a guest speaker at art groups about your approach to mixing colors, sizes, textures, chains and cords, various attachments, etc. I have never seen anyone as endlessly creative as you. You're going to do great!ReplyDelete
Congratulations Lorelei! How exciting. I am sure you are going to do really really well. I am so happy for you.ReplyDelete
I'm so happy for you, Lorelei! I still don't know how you do as much as you do in addition to a full-time job. You have more passion for jewelry making than anyone I know, and I know you will succeed and be so much happier following your dreams. I am excited to follow you on your journey!!ReplyDelete
Congratulations! It must have taken a lot of thought and courage to move forward with your decision but I'm sure you are going to soar in this next chapter of your life! Looking forward to your next book!ReplyDelete
Congrats on your big decision!! Taking care of yourself is always a good thing, and will help with the pregnancy stuff too. We are going to be doing the pregnancy thing again after the first of the year. I can only take so many months on hormones before I feel like a crazy person. Good luck, I'll keep you in my prayers.ReplyDelete
