Show your Hooters
I am entering this Hooter necklace to the new challenge over at the Artisan Whimsy site. Participants will be submitting photos of their owl jewelry and components and voting begins October 28th- October 30th. Head on over and sign up to be a member- you won't be able to vote unless you're a member but not to worry. You will be signing up to be a member of a pretty awesome group! It's a great place to learn new techniques, get inspired, and see new and unique jewelry from a talented group of people! Nothing better than that in my book! Hey why not sign up now and enter your own design into the challenge!! I want to see LOTS of your hooters, now get to it!
About my necklace: I used a handmade ceramic owl pendant from the talented Jean Christen. Faceted Czech glass rounds help anchor that gorgeous glass mosaic brooch. Wood tube beads, and mauve pink matte finish peanut seed beads are beaded up the necklace. The clasp features a handmade pewter button from Mamacita Beadworks, and a seed beaded loop.
Lovely necklace! I better check that place out then. Thanks for the tip!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSooo cute! Is the challenge part of October breast cancer, with the hooters theme? Loving those new earrings - glad you noticed them in that pic I posted. :-)
