I heart Stinky Dog Beads
Today I want to share with you a fun bead company that I discovered online called Stinky Dog Beads. Funny name, but AMAZING beads. You like Czech glass? They've got a ton, and I'm only showing a small selection that Kitty sent to me.
She's also a huge supporter of handmade bead artisans, like Gaea, Woolywire.... and will also be carrying Chirimen cord and silk Shibori ribbons! She even asked me about possibly selling my tin components. Woah. That's big. (I'm still thinking about it)
The website is really really great. I love a good bead website and you know what I'm talking about. There are some really bad ones out there, but this one- SO GOOD. Organized with beautiful photographs of the beads, so you know what you're getting. A great quality product, from a friendly online saleswoman like Kitty- what's not to love!
And how cute is that, the owner is Kitty and her business is Stinky DOG beads. Hilarious.

My favorite are those awesome Mykonos metal beads! Look at that gorgeous teal patina!

Wow! Thanks Lorelei. Have to check it out. As far as the tin snippets - go for it!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a good looking website! I have some of that new Shibori to play with for a challenge. It is so lovely! I am with Michelle... go for it with the Tin Snippets! What an honor! And your colors will go great with her stock. Thanks for sharing the link and enjoy the day! Erin
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting opportunity for you Lorelei! Thanks for the heads up on this shop, as soon as I get a break I'll have to take a peek at it.
ReplyDeleteI love her shop. Kitty is awesome. She will be carrying Starry Road Beads too, in the next couple of months.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much everyone! I really appreciate the kudos....I have been having great fun with StinkyDog Beads.
ReplyDeleteI do love handmade because I am a lampworker of 9 years who has put her torch aside for a while. I have a huge appreciation for all the love, sweat and tears that goes into the work I ask for people to make for my store. I cannot wait for Karen's (Starry Road Beads) components to come. Karen's daughter is the artisan who makes WoolyWire. What a talented family!
Now, if I could just twist Lorelei's arm to let me sell a small handful of her tin components I would be in hog heaven!!!
Such good timing! I am proudly on my way to the post office with a package for the lovely Kitty! Her website is fantastic and so is she! Jump on in Lorelei!
ReplyDeleteLots of things to look at on the Stinky Dog website. I'll be spending some time looking at it over the next couple of days. Thanks for sharing it with us.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. I've found so many great stores/artists by your recommendation or use, and I so appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteGreat find Lorelei! Thanks so much for sharing with us. :)
