A new Version
Playin around again with stitched chain. In this newest version, instead of adding say, a cup chain along the center of the 2 chains, I added some stitched cup beads!
The anchored the linen on the backside, and started stitching the cup beads - These beads are double drilled making it easier to stitch them onto the chain.
Here is a close up shot of how it looks. I used the long drop beads to stitch the two chains, make a fringe like edge.
The backside isn't really pretty but this piece fits nicely snug against the wrist and doesn't flip around. It's like a cuff, I guess.
