Hey There Punkin

This little pumpkin has been sitting on my desk for about a week and a half begging me to use him in some sort of necklace design. Sometimes I like to leave new beads and components out on my work table for several days because they frequently get considered for projects and I know eventuallythey'll will land themselves into the perfect piece. This happened today.

I dangled the little smiley guy below a pewter wheel that I have had for quite some time, from Lynn Davis.  The resin link at the left from Jade Scott, claims "Celebrate Today" and works great at the front of a necklace design. Pulled in more orange with this ceramic star connector from Diane Hawkey and added some lush black deerskin leather around the back of the necklace for comfort.

The Guy Melamed lamp work tab is another one that's been waiting for a perfect place. I like the black white and orange color palette of the bead with this piece.  Purple has a nice Halloween feeling to it and this lavender patinaed ball chain from Patina queen lends well to my asymmetrical design.

One can wear this with the pumpkin at the forefront of the necklace... but you can also slide it up and around, so that it sits at one side.
