Revival of the Blog!

Hello? Are you still out there? It's been awhile!

Where have I been!? 

I just celebrated One year at my full time job- I started working at my local county offices as a mail clerk. 

I can't believe I've been there a whole year already.  It's safe to say that my making has slowed down quite a bit. I try very hard to get into my studio at least one day per weekend. When I look back when I was deciding to go back to work outside the home, I said to myself- it's fine. I'll just make things in the evenings. 😂

Ha! Who was I kidding?? I eat dinner and if I slide into a horizontal position on the couch- I am fast asleep within minutes.  There been zero extra energy in the evenings- but you remember? When I worked at the Museum I worked on my jewelry AND my blog every day while working full time. Yea I was 18 years younger then. 

I also picked up another few hobbies. I'm still knitting...

And then I have been collecting, using fountain pens and pen palling since 2020-  which also lead to a really fun paper crafting hobby too. 

If you've followed me for any length of time you may know that I share a lot of jewelry and making on Facebook but I've come to a few realizations-

1. I'm over the fast  short form sharing on social media. 

2. I can't stand the direction FB seems to be going with all of its AI generated content. 
3. It triggers me. If I'm being honest. 

Am I leaving FB? I'm still deciding. I just have to see if I can get people over here to look for new stuff once a week.
