Gettin' on a Plane

Wish I could fly

Getting on an airplane is always stressful for me. And this trip to London is going to be hella long. I mean, almost 8 hours long. Luckily I will have some distraction. Bought 2 new games for my Nintendo DS. For those of you who are new to the blog, I am a video game junkie. I love 'em. It runs in my family. I bought Scribblenauts, which looks hilarious. You solve puzzles any way you want by typing in words. For example, there's a little guy, and a tree, and a star is in the top of the tree. You have to use your imagination to get the star. Write Ladder, and a ladder appears, you climb up and get the star. You write Beaver, and a beaver appears, chews the tree trunk, the tree falls, and there is the star, within reach. Well, you get the point.

Sometimes it's the little things that humor me. ;)

Check out the new bracelet now listed in the shop.

I will try to Vlog while in London, bringing the laptop so I can keep up on my blog reading, and keep you up on what's going on in London. Should be fun, so stay tuned! I won't be shipping any jewelry until I get back, but my shop will stay open. Check out the sale section, I marked a few new things down yesterday afternoon.

  1. I know what you mean about needing a distraction while on a plane...I love my DS for plane trips...It doesn't get enough love when we're at home, but I have tons of games for it (I am sure the games will get LOTS of use when we do the 8-hour flight to Hawaii)...

Scribblenauts sounds cute :o) I might have to break down and get it...Like I need another game - they just keep coming out with such cool games...

Love the bracelet! Enjoy London! Take lots of pictures and be sure to tell us what a great time you have so we can all be jealous :o)

  5. Such fun! I have never been overseas and I am so jealous right now...everyone says that I need a passport just in case I need to jet off someplace! LOL! I am sure that you will have a great time...what? No beading on the plane? When I went to Vegas I packed a little kit to make wire wrapped rings. My biggest issue was not being able to take my steel ring mandrel (it could be a weapon you know). So I improvised...they ought to make a collapsible hollow one that shrinks to less than 6"...hmmm...is Rings & Things reading this? I will take one please!

Can't wait to read what you do on your trip...hope you bring back some fun goodies!

Enjoy the day! And your trip!
    Erin

  9. Take it all in for what it's worth - it will be fabulous and the good parts will so out-weigh the flight. We're all so envious of you. Have a wonderful time and do all that you can and soak in all of that British culture.

  13. I hope you enjoy your trip to the UK. I live in the North of England but took my kids to see the sights in London not long ago. I hope the weather is kind to you - it has been pretty good the last few days but Autumn is definitely on its way.
