a few Monday randoms, & a CHRISTMAS SWAP.

* My new goal is to find Non-Bird related charms and pendants. Clearly this is getting out of control. :)

* Went to the dentist this morning for a cleaning. My teeth have hurt all day.

* I want to do a fun 12 days of Christmas exchange. 12 participants (that includes me) 12 gifts, but we are getting close to December. I wonder if it's too short of notice. Ahhh what the heck. If this is something you want to do, leave a comment and I'll pick 11 people to join me in a Christmas gift swap.

I'll give more details in a separate post.... but be aware before commenting- you will be responsible for sending out 11 gifts to 11 participants, including shipping. Oh, I think it's too late for International participants, so this gift exchange will be US participants only.

  1. Well depending on the type of gifts and the restrictions... I mean if it can be something as simple as a pair of earrings or some beads, you'll have no trouble finding people to participate and there'll be plenty of time to get things done and in the mail by the shipping deadlines ( usually the first week of December for international.)
If you want to keep it bigger then that though you might not get enough or at least, you might not get everything done and mailed in time.

  2. Ugh, I hate going to the dentist. But it's a good sort of hurt, right? Naw, didn't think so.

Honestly, I see nothing wrong with your fetish for bird related stuff. I'm betting they sell quickly.

I'd love to participate in the swap, but already I am feeling the frenzy of the holidays, (yet here I am playing on the computer). I'll have to decline. Maybe next year...

    Dear Lorelei,
I also have " a thing" with birds in my designs. However as a Scot living in Wales,it is rather awkward as they are very superstitious as far as birds are concerned. Consider them unlucky, which means I only generally sell bird stuff online to other countries. Bummer! Should really move to another country! Lol!
I am interested in doing the Twelve days of Christmas Swap even though in the UK! Wonder if I could be considered?? :) Cheers,Anne.

  4. I would LOVE to join in the swap! If it's a nice exchange of things like earrings and beads and other cute things (even non-bead related), I'm in!

Heck, you could even end up with a non-bird related pendant or two in the deal!!

    :o)

I think the swap is a great idea, but unfortunately I can't participate this time. Too backed up with Christmas custom orders and family gifts that still need to be made.

  18. I love to participate in the swap. You have plenty of time since the 12 days of Christmas traditionally start on Christmas Day and go to the day before the Epiphany. That day is known as Twelfth Night.

    Cheers! Ann

  22. I would love to participate as long as it's nothing complicated. My plate is already getting full but I have loved this idea when I have seen other blogs doing it. If I don't get picked - any maybe that would be more of a relief perhaps I can get in on it for next year before the list fills up.
